Retreat Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Assistant to support the seamless execution of our retreat events. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all aspects of the retreat run smoothly and efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Retreat:
Assist in clerical tasks to ensure all retreat materials are prepared.
Help in packing and transporting retreat items to the venue.
Prepare the retreat space by taking out trash, stocking bathrooms with necessary supplies, and setting up guest rooms with linens, name tags, and swag bags.
During Retreat:
Provide a warm welcome to guests, assist with luggage, and guide them to their rooms.
Maintain cleanliness and order in all common areas throughout the retreat.
Keep the retreat on schedule by giving timely reminders to guests about upcoming programs.
Assist the retreat coordinator, Shamir, in navigating the retreat schedule and venues.
Post-Retreat:
Assist in the breakdown of the event, including stripping beds, laundering linens (time permitting), and cleaning common areas.
Help guests with their luggage and ensure their departure is as smooth as their arrival.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing environments.
A friendly and positive attitude.

During these days, you are welcome to bring a guest to share in this wonderful experience, ensuring you make the most of what Martha's Vineyard has to offer.
